Matches cannot be rescheduled due to player absence.

If your team partner is injured, you can substitute a player from the same house for later matches. The

before every match. If the opposite house captain does not agree with substitution, the team injured forfeit

If a player recovers after injury, he/she can play later matches.

Doubles teams substituting partners will not qualify for “divisional winners”

Divisional Winners:

Recognizing the top three teams in each division is based on the number of matches won in the division.

The pair/ player with the most number of wins/points within their division is selected as the Division winner.

If two or more pairs/players have identical points, the winner is decided by applying the following rules in
order:

The pair/player that won their head-to-head match against the pair/player being compared, is
declared the winner.

If a winner still cannot be determined, the winner is decided by calculating the win-loss differential
across ALL games that they have played in the tournament (Total #of games won – Total #of games
lost). The pair/player with the higher number wins.

If the tie still cannot be broken, the winner is decided by calculating the point differential of games in
which the respective pair/player has lost throughout the tournament. The winner would be the
pair/player that has lost by the fewer number of points. (Total #of all point differentials in all losing
games). The pair/player with the lower number wins.

If a winner still cannot be decided, the pair/player would be required to play an 11 pt game. The side
to reach 11 points first, would be declared the winner.

In the unlikely event that the aforementioned rules fail to find the top 3 teams, winners will be
randomly picked through a lot.

House Winner / Championship Winning House:

At the end of 130 matches, House with the most points wins the tournament.

If two or more houses have identical (most) points, the winner will be decided through a grand finale round.

The top 2 Houses with the same points shall play the grand finale

The House with more points in the grand finale will be deemed the winning House of the tournament.

In case there are more than 2 Houses with the same maximum points at the end of the League round, the
ranking of the teams will be decided by applying the following rules in order:

Ranking will be established by the difference between the total games won and the total games lost,
with the greater difference ranked higher.

If this still leaves two houses equal (for the second spot in the finale), the ranking of the two will be
decided by calculating the win-loss differential in games (#of games won – #of games lost) in
head-to-head matches between the respective houses. The house with the higher number will be
ranked higher among the two.

If the tie can still not be broken, the ranking will be decided by calculating the sum of the point
differential of games in which the respective Houses have lost throughout the tournament. The Houses
will be ranked top to bottom in increasing order of the point differential.

In the unlikely event that the aforementioned rules fail to find the top 2 Houses, two houses will be
randomly picked through a lot, to advance to the finale.

Grand Finale:

The top 2 Houses with the same points shall play the Grand Finale

3 matches shall be scheduled between the two finalist teams in the Grand Finale

Grand finale will be played by Div A and 2 other divisions (to be discussed with captains prior to the
tournament)

Captain can choose the players for the team in a division for the Grand Finale.

The team can be formed with players from any team within the same division.

The order in which the matches shall be played shall be decided by a lot.

All matches will be best of three game, standard 21-point format.

One point for each game won in the Final round.

House which wins two matches in the grand finale wins the championship.

Note: Grand finale is required only if we have a tie for first place at the end of League round

Good Luck to all Houses !!
