NEMA Onam - 2018 [Cancelled]

We are cancelling 2018 Onam celebrations scheduled for August 25th and will remain 100% focused on assisting disaster recovery efforts

Dear Friends,

Kerala is barely coming out of the biggest natural disaster the state has faced in nearly a century. Heavy rains, flooding, and landslides have claimed over 350 lives and displaced over 700 thousand people. Loss of property is staggering and as people slowly get back to their homes, the real impact could be much bigger. I am sure all of us have someone in our family/friends who are impacted by the situation back home. Under this situation, NEMA unanimously, unequivocally, and passionately Stands with Kerala and our people. We are canceling 2018 Onam celebrations scheduled for August 25th and will remain 100% focused on assisting disaster recovery efforts.

Ticket Refund Process 

* By default, all tickets will be 100% refunded at cost via checks by September 15th. 
* If you wish to donate ticket money to NEMA’s Fundraiser for CM’s disaster recovery fund, please send an email to bod@nemausa.org stating your wish to donate by August 31st. We will send you a donation receipt via email.
* Email request is only required if you wish to donate, otherwise we will send refund checks by September 15th. 
* Partial Refund/Donate will create accounting issues, so we are limiting to two options – 100% Refund or 100% Donate.
